Home remedies using honey to treat breakouts can provide acne sufferers with relief and blemish-free skin.</p>
<h3>Honey</h3>
<p>Dab a small amount of honey directly on acne with a cotton swab or finger. Wait five minutes and then rinse with warm water. Honey can be applied to acne on any part of the body, it also helps remove acne scars. Apply honey as often as needed. Use honey for at least one week for best results</p>
<h3>Honey and Cinnamon</h3>
<p>Combine 3 tbsp. honey with 1 tsp. cinnamon powder. Mix together until a paste forms, then apply directly to acne before bed. In the morning, wash off honey paste with warm water. Continue for two weeks for noticeable results.</p>
<h3>Honey and Oatmeal</h3>
<p>Boil 1 cup of water on the stove. Add 1/2 cup of oatmeal and stir. Cover with lid for five minutes. Add 1/4 cup of honey and combine. Allow oatmeal mixture to cool completely. Apply mixture to face, avoid the eye area as oatmeal can irritate the eyes. Leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse the face with warm water and soap to remove. Oatmeal reduce inflammation, absorbs oil and exfoliates the skin. Apply mask once a day for at least one week for results.</p>
<h3>Honey and Lemon Juice</h3>
<p>Mix 1 tsp. lemon juice with two drops of honey. Use a cotton ball and lightly dab a small amount on acne. Allow the mixture to work overnight and wash face with warm water in the morning. For a mask, mix a spoonful of honey with 1 tsp lemon juice. Rinse the face with warm water after 20 minutes. Lemon juice can dry out the skin while honey works as a natural moisturizer, allowing the two to work together as an acne treatment. For best results use real lemons, bottled lemon juice is diluted. Individuals with sensitive skin may experience burning or irritation. Discontinue using lemon juice if irritation occurs. Use lemon juice and honey daily, but avoid if over drying occurs.</p>

<p><strong>DON&#8217;T:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Smoke. Smoking prematurely ages your skin at a rate second only to sun damage. Nicotine constricts blood vessels, blocking the flow of oxygen to your skin. </span></p>
<p><strong>DO:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Exfoliate regularly. Once a week works for most. If you have oily or combination skin, use a chemical exfoliator like glycolic or salicylic acid. Those with normal or sensitive skin will reap the greatest benefit with a microdermabrasion formula exfoliator &#8212; the kind with little beads that scrub your face. </span></p>
<p><strong>DON’T:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Forget to wear sunscreen! Make your moisturizer do double duty and wear one with an SPF of at least 30, even in the winter, and even if you are only outdoors a few minutes a day. </span></p>
<p><strong>DO:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Use eye cream every day! The skin around your eyes is very thin and fragile. Protect it with an SPF 30 eye cream. </span></p>
<p><strong>DON’T:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Forget your neck, chest and hands. These areas age the fastest and are all but ignored in our skincare routines. Sunscreen, exfoliation and moisturization are just as important in these areas as they are on your face. Look for anti-aging ingredients like vitamin A, kinetin, copper and vitamin C. </span></p>
<p><strong>DO:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Eat and drink healthful foods. Great skin starts on the inside. Drink lots of water to keep hydrated, and ingest lots of antioxidants like those found in green tea and foods high in vitamins A, E, C and beta carotene. Antioxidants fight free radicals, which can cause cell damage. (Bonus: Antioxidants also help protect against cancers and heart disease!) </span></p>
<p><strong>DON’T:</strong> <span style="font-weight: normal;">Overdry your skin. Many women make the mistake of staging a full-scale drying assault on their entire faces when confronted with a pimple. This only makes the problem worse. When skin is stripped of all its natural oils, it produces even more sebum to make up for it. This substance is what clogs pores, causing pimples. A gentle cleanser and regular exfoliation is kind to your skin, yet effective enough for most women &#8212; but do see your dermatologist if you feel you have an acne problem. </span></p>
<p><strong>DO:</strong> </strong>Follow a regimen regularly. Caring for your skin should be a twice-daily occurrence. Don’t be slapdash about your regimen or follow it only sporadically and expect to see any lasting results.<br />
DON’T: Forget that your skin is the largest organ in your body. Treat it well!</p>

<p><strong>2.</strong> A warm cup of tea works wonders. There are many varieties of flavored tea on the market today. Try to choose one that is decaffeinated. For instance, Chamomile tea has no caffeine and it has a relaxing effect.</p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> Visualization is used a lot to calm nerves. Sit back in a comfortable chair. Clothing must not be tight. Try to relax your body. At first, you&#8217;ll find it difficult to clear your mind but keep trying . Soon you will start to relax. Visualize a peaceful setting. Such as laying on the warm sand of a beach. Listen to the waves as they pound upon the beach and smell the salty sea breeze. Feel the warm sun touching your skin.</p>
<p>Try to imagine that you&#8217;re in a big clear bubble floating above a emerald green valley. Visualize anything that makes you feel relaxed.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> Breathing exercises are great for relieving stress. Breath in a deep breath. Hold it and count to ten. Let out the air and as you do visualize the air as being all the pent up stress.</p>
<p><strong>5.</strong> It is very important that one has something useful to do during the day and to stay occupied.</p>
<p><strong>6</strong> An hour to a nervous person seems like forever. It is essential that a nervous person has outside interest so that time passes quickly.</p>
<p><strong>7.</strong> Breathing into a paper bag and then rebreathing the air in the bag can be relaxing.</p>
<p><strong>8.</strong> Meditation is another helpful tool. Find a comfortable place to sit. And be as quite as possible and there should be no distractions. Clear your mind. While you&#8217;re meditating its nice to listen to some relaxing music such as Classical or New Age. Try to do this for at least fifteen minutes a day.</p>
<p><strong>9.</strong> Try to exercise when you&#8217;re feeling nervous and stressed out. Taking a walk is wonderful for stress. The fresh air and open spaces gives you a better mood and makes everything look so much better.</p>

<li>constantly on your mind for weeks at a time and is making it impossible to enjoy life</li>
<li>caused by something that happened a long time ago</li>
<li>causing you to do spiteful things</li>
<li>making you act violently toward others or to yourself</li>
<li>interfering with your ability to do your job</li>
<li>hurting your relationships with family or friends.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Short terms solutions to anger:</strong></p>
<p>Admit that you are angry. By denying feelings of anger they will not go away, instead they will keep reappearing in inappropriate ways.</p>
<p>Try not to over-react. Think about whether the situation is really as bad as it seems. How would you feel if you saw someone reacting as you have to this situation.</p>
<p>Force your attention onto a more pleasant thought, a happy vacation for example, rather than the line up or traffic or whatever has you angry.</p>
<p>Identify the source of your anger. Is it the actions or words of another person that is hurting you? If so, try to deal with that person in a peaceful, productive way to get them to understand why you are angry.</p>
<p>Listen carefully, without interrupting the other person, so you can understand what the person is trying to explain.</p>
<p><strong>Long term solutions to anger:</strong></p>
<p>Find out from others who have similar experiences, how they dealt with something out of their control like losing a job</p>
<p>Avoid blaming yourself even if you have caused your own misfortune through an error. Try to learn from your mistake so you don&#8217;t make it again.</p>
<p>Reduce tension by finding time for physical activity. Anger is a physical outlet of all the energy released as a result of stress reaction. Find a more productive way to expend that energy.</p>
<p>Reduce your stress level. Use stress management techniques and try to find time for more things that you enjoy</p>
<p>Learn to meditate. It is not as mystic as you think. If you learn to control your thoughts when you are not angry it will help you maintain control when you are angry.</p>
<p>Laugh at yourself. If you can see the funny side of a difficult situation you can laugh instead of lashing out.</p>
<p>Learn to trust the abilities of others and respect that we all have different qualities. Some of your anger may be coming from a lack of faith in the capabilities of other people.</p>
<p>Talk to someone you trust, a close family member, friend or member of the clergy who may help you see things with a different perspective.</p>
<p>Get professional help. If your problems are serious you may need the help of a mental health counselor.</p>
